At Strive Chiropractic, we use a variety of hands-on therapies to help you achieve your goals. We assess your body to see how it moves, so that we can determine what is causing your pain or discomfort. Then, we use that information to build a plan that aligns with your body, your preferences, and your goals.

Services

  • Chiropractic Adjustments

    To get your joints moving.

To put it simply, we figure out which joints aren't moving well and help them to move the way they should. Getting adjusted can result in decreased pain, improved mobility, and decreased muscle tension.

Dr. Mandy adjusts both the spine and extremities (arms/legs), and has multiple ways of adjusting each area, so that your care can be tailored to your preferences.

  • Myofascial Release

    To relieve muscle tension.

Muscles surround all of your joints, so they affect the way your joints move. Because of that, we don't just adjust and send you on your way - we also work on your muscles.

We have multiple ways to do this, including:

    • Instrument-associated soft tissue mobilization

    • Ischemic compression

    • Active muscle release

    • Percussive massage therapy

  • Rehabilitative Exercises

    To stabilize and strengthen.

Adjustments are great for getting more movement in your joints, but that isn't always what your joints need. That's where exercises come in.

Exercises can strengthen specific muscle groups, helping to stabilize joints that have too much movement. They also help to retrain your body to use the right muscles for each job, so that you can find pain relief and prevent pain from returning in the future.

  • Cupping Therapy

To accelerate healing, reduce swelling & alleviate pain.

Rather than applying pressure to your muscles, cupping therapy applies suction to the area under the cup. This increases blood flow to this area, and assists with proper movement of metabolic waste and fluid from the area.

  • Kinesiology Taping

To decrease swelling, provide support & optimize motor control.

Kinesiology tape can be used many different ways, each giving different results. Like cupping, tape can be applied to an area of swelling to help fluid move out of the area more easily. We also use kinesiology tape to support your muscles and joints, to encourage optimal movement patterns, and to stimulate your nervous system to improve muscle recruitment.

  • Customized Orthotics

    To stabilize your body's foundation.

Your feet are the foundation of your entire body. However, if your foundation is uneven, everything on that foundation has to compensate.

Orthotics can stabilize your feet and ankles, affecting the way your body functions from your feet to the base of your head. This simple change in your feet can help your body to move the way it was meant to.
